“Claude Code Is Not Making Your Product Better,” n.d. https://ethanding.substack.com/p/claude-code-is-not-making-your-product

Blog posts which tries to cover topic of productivity discrepancy between people who use AI. Many claim that it managed to speed up their work to a point where everything seems to be generated.
Others who are programmers with a lot of experience still struggle to actually use it in a way which would allow to create sustainable software.
Author suggests that it all depends on what you need to deliver. If it’s replaceable boilerplate code then AI might help you to deliver faster. Sadly there cost of it so far is not only related to money you spend on tokens. There is also a cost of loosing maintainability of your codebase.
In the end it’s a tradeoff but as with any techdebt. Once created it takes way more time and money to get it removed.
